Jake Paul makes huge $3m rematch offer to Tommy Fury – and rival can earn more on one condition
Jake Paul has offered Tommy Fury $3million for a rematch, although that offer could yet increase. Paul and Fury hold a famous rivalry which saw the pair finally square off in the boxing ring in February 2023. But he has now made a new offer to Paul on social media, offering him more money if the fight is held in the US. He tweeted: “I’m offering Tommy Fury $3 million to fight me in 2025. “The number is $4 million if he can legally get into the US. “Let’s see who is ducking who.” It’s an offer Fury seemingly isn’t too impressed by, as he said on X: “No worries at all mate, hope that loss doesn’t eat you up too much. “Just know, that you never had enough balls to try and avenge your loss. You’re right, we are different… I’m a winner and you’re a loser.” He added: “Why would I agree to that when it’s less than our first fight AND I beat you? You’re deluded. But don’t throw me stupid offers you know won’t get accepted. “It’s clear to see that you’re just using the money as an excuse to get away from this rematch. “You brag about making $50m for fights but yet won’t pay up for the only real fight you have left. Showing your true colours my friend. Keep running scared. I’ll see you very soon… [duck emojis].” Fury was unable to travel to the US for their first fight, which was held in Saudi Arabia. It is believed he is still unable to travel to American soil, and a fight would likely need to be held elsewhere. A sequel could still have huge commercial value, with streaming service Netflix previously expressing interest in staging the event. He said in a video on social media: “I saw Jake tweet the other day about how he offered me XYZ (to fight) on Netflix. “I just wanted to come on here and say no-one’s running from that fight. “I beat you once already, I handed you your first loss. The minute you stepped up and fought a real boxer you lost, fair and square. “I can give you a second loss, that’s not a problem but let’s talk some serious numbers down the phone. “If you want to get in touch you know where I am. It’s as easy as that. “I can come back after a year and beat the pair of you so at the end of the day if you want to fight let’s talk some serious numbers, you know where I am.” Paul wasn’t initially too keen on the idea, but is clearly now open to offers.
