The Cowboys soon parted ways with Mike McCarthy as head coach. Then Parsons got into a serious Twitter beef with DeMarcus Lawrence, who made it clear that Dallas’ inability to win a Super Bowl was the primary reason that the four-time Pro Bowler left the Cowboys and signed with Seahawks. Even though Seattle also has almost zero chance to win the big game next season. “This what rejection and envy look like!” Parsons tweeted in mid-March. “This some clown s***!” On Wednesday, one of the best — and most conflicted — defenders in the NFL tweeted this: “Some people drink. Some people smoke. I like to tweet.” Those last words prove that Jerry World is out of control, but going nowhere. But who really believes that rookie head coach Brian Schottenheimer is going to turn everything around in year one, all while guiding Prescott past the Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, Detroit Lions, Chiefs and Eagles? Not even a Twitter troll would tweet that.
