Images of the Day: Four Pillars x Lune unveil Croissant Gin with Heinemann at Sydney Airport
The buttery flakiness of a croissant and the crisp complexity of gin may seem worlds apart, but in an inspired collaboration Four Pillars Gin and Lune Croissanterie have converged to create Croissant Gin.

Our regular feature, brought to you in association with Duty Free Global from Ireland, celebrates memorable scenes, moments, launches and campaigns related to the global aviation and travel retail sphere.
AUSTRALIA. Today’s selection comes from Sydney Airport, where Australian distillery Four Pillars Gin and Melbourne-based Lune Croissanterie have joined forces to create a world-first innovation in spirits – Croissant Gin.
The limited-edition release, available at the Heinemann Oceania’s Terminal 1 Departures store, brings an unexpected yet compelling fusion of patisserie and gin craftsmanship to travel retail. It is being showcased via a dynamic Four Pillars Co Lab Tasting Bar activation.
Infused with Lune’s clarified butter, the Four Pillars x Lune Croissant gin delivers a velvety mouthfeel alongside notes of roasted almonds, wattleseed, nutmeg, lemon myrtle, fresh oranges and vanilla.
The result is a distinctive, buttery-smooth spirit that can be savoured in a classic gin and tonic or as the star of an Espresso Gin-tini, the brand said.
This release underscores the growing appeal of cross-category collaborations in travel retail – particularly those that create a sense of place (or in this case, taste of place). By blending two proudly Australian brands, Four Pillars and Lune, the partners have crafted a proposition that not only captures Melbourne’s artisanal culture but also reinforces the power of creative collaboration in the channel.
