Although the characters in The White Lotus are wealthy beyond many of our wildest dreams, there’s usually one or two that audiences can really vibe with. This season, folks in toxic friendships everywhere felt called out when they were introduced to Laurie (Carrie Coon), Kate (Leslie Bibb), and Jaclyn (Michelle Monaghan) — a trio of lifelong friends who kind of actually hated one another. A successful actress looking for some time away from her busy life, Jaclyn invited her two friends along on the vacation of a lifetime to the titular resort’s Thailand location. Week after week, audiences watched as their truths came out of the woodwork, and they became more and more candid with one another. But, by the season finale, all three seemed to have reformed their bond and been reminded of why they were friends in the first place — or did they?
