iCaur Malaysia welcomes its first 11 dealer partners – 03 EV launching in Q3 2025; 2 variants, fr RM145k est

During the launch of the iCaur brand in Malaysia, it was also announced that the brand had signed its first eleven dealer partners. In the coming months, more are expected to join the network as the sub-brand of Chery expands across the country.

From what we gather, iCaur dealerships will stand alone and not occupy the same space as existing Chery or Jaecoo facilities. The first iCaur model to arrive in showrooms will be the 03, which is one of three models planned for our market and are currently on display at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025 (MAS 2025) – you have until May 15 to check out the event.

The 03 is slated to go on sale in the third quarter of 2025 and is now open for registrations of interest. If you place a booking at MAS 2025 – RM1,000 fee, fully refundable – you’ll get a scale model of the 03 upon delivery of your vehicle.

Customers will have two variants to choose from, including the 2WD that has an estimated price of RM145,000, a 65.7-kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, a NEDC-rated range of 426 km and a rear electric motor rated at 184 PS (181 hp or 135 kW) and 220 Nm.

The second option is the iWD estimated at RM155,000 that features a 69.8-kWh LFP battery, 418 km range (NEDC) and a dual-motor, all-wheel drive powertrain rated at 279 PS (275 hp or 205 kW) and 385 Nm.

Equipment touted for the 03 include the iRoad suite with six selectable drive modes, a 12-speaker Infinity sound system, a 540-degree camera, a 15.6-inch central infotainment touchscreen, a 9.2-inch digital instrument cluster and Level 2.5 ADAS (lane assist, adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist).

As for the other two iCaur models coming our way, they are the 03T, which is a premium and sportier version of the 03 that has a more rugged look to fit in alongside the newer V23.
