I Still Can’t Wrap My Head Around the ‘Lost’ Finale’s Biggest Missed Opportunity With Sayid

I’ll always be of the opinion that the Lost finale is good, actually. I'm not just a defender; I'm a champion. It's one of the best series closers of all time, not one of the worst. But that doesn't mean I don't have quibbles with certain things that happened in the final season and the final episode. Chief among them is the "endgame" reunion between Shannon (Maggie Grace) and Sayid (Naveen Andrews) that culminated at the church in the show's final moments. Why was Sayid with Shannon at the church in the Lost finale? What about Nadia (Andrea Gabriel), Sayid's childhood friend we were lead to believe was the love of his life?
