I Desperately Need the Sonic the Hedgehog Franchise To Fix This Big Problem — and Amy Rose Is the First Step in Solving It

Like its predecessors, Sonic the Hedgehog 3ends with the introduction of another character from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. Amy Rose makes her grand appearance by saving Sonic (Ben Schwartz) from being killed by a horde of Metal Sonics. Amy's introduction comes at the perfect time: the Sonic movies have been established as a bonafide success for Paramount, while screenwriters Josh Casey and Pat Miller are determined to take the Blue Blur and his friends to outer space. But the biggest shakeup that Amy brings to the Sonic films is that it gives them a much-needed female perspective, which even a Sonic fan like myself can admit has been lacking from the franchise.
