If the Oilers beat the Anaheim Ducks AND the Calgary Flames lose to the Sharks in regulation, Edmonton can finish no worse than third in the Pacific Division, which would lock it into a playoff spot.
In the Pacific Division, the Vegas Golden Knights have a five-point lead over the Oilers and the Los Angeles Kings for first place. A victory over the Ducks would position a fourth straight first-round matchup between the Oilers and Kings.
The St. Louis Blues will look to continue their stellar stretch of hockey when they take on the Winnipeg Jets on Monday.
