PHILADELPHIA, PA – The boutique urban oasis, Hotel Anna & Bel, located in the artistic enclave of Fishtown, Philadelphia, debuts the Anna Suite by Anthropologie Home, an immersive stay experience in the crown jewel master suite of the hotel designed in partnership with the decor arm of Philadelphia-native global lifestyle brand, Anthropologie.
Boasting 360-degree windows with views of Center City throughout its expansive layout at over 950 square feet, the two bedroom, two bathroom Anna Suite by Anthropologie Home will be fully outfitted with furniture and decor from the brand – from the pattern-forward wallpaper selection and cotton printed Sutton throw pillows in the King bedroom to the glass and ceramic dishware in the custom created kitchenette and wet bar. Should guests decide they can’t live without one of the pieces, the suite will be fully shoppable through a custom postcard with a QR code found in room.
“Our partnership with Hotel Anna & Bel reflects our commitment to supporting our local community here in Philadelphia, a city that has long inspired our design ethos,” says Anu Narayanan, President, Anthropologie Women’s & Home. “We’re thrilled to invite our customers and hotel guests to experience the Anna Suite by Anthropologie Home, a space where every corner tells a story. We created this suite to mirror the hotel’s inviting aesthetic coupled with our brand’s signature twist. By layering vintage-inspired textures, bold colors and artful pattern mixing, we wanted the space to feel like a beautifully curated, lived-in home. The result is a space rich in personality, warmth, and discovery.”
The hotel, which was opened by leading local developers Foyer Project in August 2024 as the first full-service boutique property in Fishtown in the bones of what was once the Penn Asylum for Indigent Widows and Single Women, is rooted in fostering connection between vibrant Fishtown and the global travelers that frequent Philadelphia through the conduit of hospitality and design. Designed by Foyer Project in partnership with interior design and architecture firm B March, the hotel features nods to its hyperlocal and feminine history throughout, a detail that drew them to their Philly neighbors at Anthropologie Home.
“Having made our home in such a dynamic creative community like Fishtown, we’ve strived to create a space that engages our guests both in the fabric of the local scene as well as in the various discoveries to be found onsite, from the brands we feature in-room to the seasonally-changing menu at our signature restaurant, Bastia.” said Galli Arbel, Director of Brand at Foyer Project. “As a brand created for women with its roots in Philadelphia, we’re thrilled to partner with Anthropologie Home to bring our Anna Suite to life for our guests to explore.”
Working closely with the Anthropologie Home team to curate an experience that captures the essence of their Spring 2025 home collection, Hotel Anna & Bel has created a suite that features refined yet eclectic textures and motifs. Guests can expect vibrant art and eye-catching accents like ceramic floral wall hangings, a curated book selection of design titles and a whimsical rattan poodle umbrella stand. Upon entry to the ultra-private fourth floor suite, guests are greeted by an unparalleled amount of natural light in the living and dining spaces from each unobstructed window as well as the four separate industrial skylights that feature original hardware, complemented by striped green and white floor to ceiling curtains and a gallery wall of of art including prints that reference the feminine forms found throughout the rest of Hotel Anna & Bel. The living space also features Anthropologie Home’s Cosette Swivel Chairs paired alongside the Astrea Jacquard Woven Athena Sofa and the Quillen Marquetry Pedestal Dining Table, which is complemented by the Posta Leather Dining Chairs that guests can enjoy throughout their stay.
Both bedrooms feature the moody earth tones that are at play throughout the rest of the hotel, including subtle greens and deep clay red, with floral wallpaper accent walls adding intrigue. A selection of both dark wood and marble furnishings round out the spaces alongside a curation of accent decor and wall art. The only room on the fourth floor, the Anna Suite is accessible only through a private staircase, creating a perfect enclave for private getaways or for those looking for an extra touch of luxury.
