Joyner is considered to be a mid-round prospectGetty Joyner raised his stock at the Senior BowlGetty Joyner ran a 4.60 40-yard-dashGetty When asked what a team is going to get if they draft Joyner, he didn’t hesitate in his answer. “The biggest thing they’re going to get is a guy that has a knack for getting to the quarterback,” Joyner said. “I’ve done that my entire career and I’m going to do that at the next level, so I think that’s the biggest thing. “My length, my speed. I think those are the things that really separate me. I’m 6′ 5” and ran a 4.6 forty. “So I definitely have wheels on me.” Joyner referenced two guys whose games he tries to emulate. “Arden Key, he’s been a big part of who I look at when it comes to edge rushers like me. “Brian Burns as well, just because of his body type and how he stands up. I want to emulate that more in my game, standing up, coming off the edge.” Joyner is projected to go somewhere in the middle to late rounds of the draft. Whoever ends up drafting Joyner may just be getting the late-round steal that teams are so desperately looking for.
