George R.R. Martin “Hopes the Audience Will Be Open” to New ‘Game of Thrones’ Spin-Off Changes, but It Makes Me Nervous

Six years out from Game of Thrones' conclusion, the franchise is still going strong. The first spin-off series, House of the Dragon, has proven to be an undeniable success despite the frustration with the finale of the original series. Since House of the Dragon, the world is set to continue expanding with several spin-offs in the works, the next of which is A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, which will be released later this year. Based on George R. R. Martin's series of novellas, Tales of Dunk and Egg, the next seriespromises a different look at Westeros with Targaryens and at least one tourney, but no dragons.
