Chip Ganassi Racing is the latest IndyCar Series team to present its new colors for one of its entries.
Sophomore IndyCar driver Kyffin Simpson returns in the renumbered No. 8 Honda — a change from the No. 4 used during his rookie campaign — and has traded a muted corporate-minded livery for something that should stand out among the other cars.
“The refreshed colors and asymmetrical design reflect a bold new direction for Journie Rewards, which will once again serve as the primary partner of the No. 8 throughout 2025,” the team wrote.
Simpson added, “I’m really liking these new colors on the No. 8 Journie Rewards Honda. I think they’ll look really good on track and can’t wait for everyone to see them in St. Petersburg.”
