There they are: Max Verstappen and Liam Lawson, decked out in Red Bull’s 2025 race suits, looking like they’re ready to conquer the world.
With Max’s trademark intensity and Lawson’s youthful energy, the bulls are poised to bring a mix of experience and rising talent into what promises to be a thrilling season.
Red Bull’s fresh attire is embedded with only subtle changes compared to past uniforms but they still represent the weight of a legacy and the promise of battles yet to come.
Verstappen: ‘Crazy’ to Be Starting an 11th Season
Verstappen, already a four-time world champion and one of the most accomplished drivers in Formula 1 history, is poised for yet another title campaign.
Reflecting on his journey, Verstappen couldn’t help but marvel at the fact that 2025 marks his 11th season in the sport.
“It’s been a while already, of course, in F1,” he said. “To start, my 11th season is pretty crazy already.
“It does feel already like quite a bit of a time that I’ve been in F1. But I’m just excited for what’s ahead.”

Having experienced a challenging season in 2024, where Red Bull struggled to keep up with rivals after a promising start, Verstappen is optimistic about the lessons learned.
“I think the beautiful thing was that every championship that I have won, has been won in a different way,” he explained.
“Of course, last year was definitely a challenging one. We had a great start to the year and then a bit of a tough time.
“At the end of the year, we had our up and down moments, but that can happen in Formula 1.
“It’s about what we learn from it, and hopefully this year, with what we have learned last year, we can do a more solid job.”
Lawson: Learning and Challenges Ahead
For Lawson, this year’s campaign will be all about seizing opportunities.
Promoted to Red Bull’s senior team after just 11 Grand Prix starts with AlphaTauri/VCARB, the young Kiwi is acutely aware of the challenges awaiting him – not least the prospect of racing alongside Verstappen.

“It’s a new team and I think big expectations, so it’s very exciting, but I’m also expecting it to be the toughest year that I’ve come into,” commented Lawson.
“I think the start of the year is going to be the hardest as well. Going to a bunch of tracks I haven’t done before starting the season, it’s going to be very, very tough.”
The prospect of going toe-to-toe with Verstappen in identical machinery would intimidate many, but Lawson sees it as a priceless learning opportunity.
“There’s more opportunity than ever [having] someone like him as a team mate, somebody who’s been in this team for 10 years and obviously he’s just won the last four world championships,” he said.
“There’s nobody better to align everything that I’m doing with because all of our data is going to be shared.

“For me, that’s a great opportunity to learn. There’s nobody better to learn, to improve [with]. So that’s exciting.
“But obviously at the same time, having somebody so quick and competitive is going to come with its challenges. So for me, it’s just about making the most of that.”
A Season of Split Ambitions
As the 2025 Formula 1 season looms, Verstappen and Lawson represent two ends of Red Bull’s spectrum: a seasoned champion chasing history and a rising star eager to make his mark.
Verstappen’s composure and determination offer Red Bull stability at the sharp end of the grid, while Lawson’s energy and willingness to learn signal an exciting future.
Whether it's Verstappen seeking his fifth consecutive championship or Lawson carving his path in F1, Red Bull’s 2025 season promises to be a thrilling ride.
And with their new suits shining under the lights, the team is dressed for success—now it’s time to deliver on track.
Red Bull will uneil the livery of its 2025 contender at Formula 1's F1 75 Live event in London on Tuesday evening, while the actual RB21 will be seen for the first time next week in Bahrain when the team completes a shakedown run ahead of pre-season testing which kicks off on February 26.
