Interestingly, the support page only lists the Galaxy S25 by name. Tablets like the Galaxy Tab aren’t included yet. However, some users report seeing Instant Hotspot working on older Galaxy phones running One UI 7. That suggests the update might be tied more to One UI 7 than specific hardware.

Call casting and instant hotspot both rely on close-range device communication. They trigger automatically when one device senses the need—like a laptop without a connection reaching out for data.
