Full Trailer: James Gunn’s “Superman”

Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Studios have finally premiered the full trailer for James Gunn’s “Superman” film.

Gunn takes on the original superhero in the newly imagined DC universe with a blend of epic action, humor and heart, delivering a Superman who’s driven by compassion and an inherent belief in the goodness of humankind.

The new film will follow Superman as he looks to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing, guided by human kindness in a world that sees it as old-fashioned.

The full trailer teases that in saving lives and stopping a war, he illegally entered a country and interfered with their sovereignty – so there are consequences to be paid.

“Superman” stars David Corenswet as Clark Kent/The Man of Steel, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Isabel Merced as Hawkgirl, Nathan Fillion as Green Lantern Guy Gardner, Edi Gathegi as Mr. Terrific, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, and Milly Alcock as Supergirl.

“Superman” is set for release globally starting July 9th 2025 with a U.S. release on July 11th.
