But regardless it’s strong enough form with the weight allowance to Queensbury Boy of 6lb he can make the most of that advantage. Harry Cobden is on board this time and is always dependable here at Newbury. Another potential positive is that it’s a third run since his wind op which is where we usually see even more progression. The operation clearly helped with a distant second place behind the promising Skyjack Hijack, before going on to be first past the line here in December. Hititi Zain Nights won this race last year at just five-years-old but did win while 14lb lighter. He went on to win twice but since returning this season has pulled up twice and finished in the minor places. Similarly, he was just seen eight days ago and it’s hard to back him with much confidence. Hititi is very consistent with seven 2nd place finishes and five wins in his 17 hurdle contests. His latest switch to hurdles from chasing was last time out finishing 2nd to Catch Him Derry which was very encouraging form. He will have to defy top-weight but he’s still a solid place bet. Knight Of Allen Solid form finishing third behind Jour d’Evasion, Steel Ally and Wade Out in his past three races. Still looks promising when placing second to Liari back in December 2023 but has only raced four times since then. This should be his chance to get back in the winners’ enclosure with the betting suggesting it will be a match between him and Ben Solo, barely split in the odds. The Jane Williams-trained five-year-old is rated 3lb higher and looks more versatile ground wise to suit this race.
