‘Final Destination: Bloodlines’ Gives Us the Franchise’s Funniest, Most Well-Deserved Death, and I’m Not Even Sorry for Thinking It
The penny kid's death by falling piano in Final Destination Bloodlines is the best in the series because it is so cartoonish and well-deserved.
Final Destination is full of naive characters who purposefully ignore the signs placed in front of them, which is what makes its formula work so well. It is extremely frustrating to watch these individuals flirt with death, so their eventual fate has a sense of inevitability. Yet throughout the franchise, it is rare that you feel a character truly deserved the extremity of their death. However,Final Destination: Bloodlineshas just given us the franchise’s most unlikeable character and subsequently given him the most unceremonious, humorous death.
