‘Family Guy’ Returns to Fox With Summer Release Date for Season 23

We finally know when Family Guywill be making its way back to the screen. Fox has announced that the acclaimed animated comedy series will return on May 29 at 9 PM. The summer schedule might seem unusual for long-time fans, but this is only due to live sports taking over Sunday nights for the season. The Griffin family will be seen on Thursdays in the meantime. Once the major sports seasons are over, animated comedies will return to the spot on the schedule they have held over the course of many years. The summer won't be the same thanks to one of the most beloved families on television.
