Wardley had initially been in negotiations to face WBA ‘regular’ champion Kubrat Pulev, but the Brit revealed to talkSPORT.com that the 43-year-old rejected the fight, leading to Miller getting the call. The WBA ‘interim’ trinket had been placed on the line for the fight, although it remains unclear if that will remain at stake.
