Sublime’s unlikely second act will keep rolling next month with an expanded, 20th anniversary edition of the collection Look at All the Love We Found: A Tribute to Sublime, which will be released May 9 through Sublime Recordings and late frontman Bradley Nowell’s son Jakob’s SVNBVRNT Records.

The latter’s version of “Garden Grove” with his project Jakobs Castle premieres exclusively below, as does an acoustic cover of “Ebin” with Jakob Nowell and SVNBVRNT artists Jesse James Pariah and Zayno.

More from Spin:

The remastered new version features more than 30 artists interpreting the music of Sublime, including eight previously unreleased tracks from the likes of Zac Brown Band (“Wrong Way”), Descendents (an acoustic version of “Hope”), G Love and Special Sauce (“April 29th 1992”) and Slightly Stoopid with Stick Figure (“Slow Ride”).

The original edition of the album boasted contributions from Jack Johnson, Pennywise, Michael Franti and Spearheqd, Avail and many others. Those tracks appear again on the upcoming release.

“Sublime was a soundtrack to my younger years — their music was raw, real and full of soul,” says Brown. “Covering ‘Wrong Way’ is my way of paying tribute to a band that broke boundaries and inspired so many of us to blend genres without fear. Bradley’s voice and spirit still echo through so much of what we do today. It’s an honor to keep that energy alive in our own way.”

Adds Jakob Nowell, who assumed lead vocal duties when Sublime reunited in 2024, “Sublime is and always has been a family first and foremost. The loss of my father was a devastating event to many and was only outweighed by the outpouring of love from the numerous musicians whose lives and craft were affected by the work of Sublime. All the love that we collectively have found along this crazy journey is spelled out on every track of this tribute record.”

Proceeds from Look at All the Love will benefit Oregon-based non-profit Agape Families, which provides support for families impacted by incarceration.

“I love this album!,” enthuses Sublime drummer Bud Gaugh. “Friends and family come together to pay tribute. Chuck D inna house! And who doesn’t love Fishbone?! I mean, that version of ‘Date Rape’ … it’s better than what we did with it!”

“Back in the day, any opportunity we would get to work with Sublime in any way was an automatic yes,” says Pennywise’s Fletcher Dragge. “Seeing this new rebirth with Jake at the helm has been nothing less than amazing. It’s like watching Bradley up there again. [It] just feels really right and natural. Can’t wait to get out there this summer and share the stage with these guys again. It’s gonna be 100% off the hook!”

Sublime will take over the “Skratch N’ Sniff” radio show to debut some of the unreleased tracks during the two-hour special “Sublime 4-20 Smokeout” on April 20. The program will be heard on more than 60 markets, including Los Angeles’ ALT987 and DC101.

Meanwhile, Sublime are continuing to work on music for a new album, the first single from which will be released in early summer. The group has a number of high-profile shows on tap this spring and summer, including a visit to Red Rocks outside Denver tomorrow (April 18) and appearances at such festivals as BeachLife, BottleRock Napa Valley, Boston Calling and the Washington, D.C.-area edition of the revived Warped Tour.
