D’station Racing has confirmed its plans for the upcoming SUPER GT season, with British driver Charlie Fagg staying in the Japanese championship for a second campaign with the Aston Martin customer team.

Fagg was drafted in by D’station to join Tomonobu Fujii aboard the No. 777 Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo from the second round of the season at Fuji onwards.

He was brought in as a replacement for Aston Martin factory driver Marco Sorensen, whose commitments in the FIA World Endurance Championship prevented him from contesting any further races beyond the Okayama season opener.

Fagg and Fujii scored a victory in the third round of the season at Suzuka, after which they never finished lower than sixth, ending up fourth in the GT300 standings.

D’station announced on Monday an unchanged driver lineup for 2025, while baseball star Kazuhiro Sasaki and Tetsuya Tanaka retain the roles as team principal and team supervisor respectively.

The team’s relationship with tire supplier Dunlop has been renewed for a second season.

A revised livery also commemorates the 30th anniversary of the NEXUS Group, the entertainment company owned by team representative director Satoshi Hoshino that operates the D’station chain of pachinko parlors.

Fujii kicked off D’station’s testing campaign last week at Fuji Speedway, driving the No. 777 car solo and setting the 11th-fastest time of the 18 GT300 cars present.

The Japanese driver is again due to take on sole test duties later this month for another GT300 test at Okayama, before Fagg makes his first outing of the season at the first of two official tests at the same circuit on March 15-16.
