UK. Italian Prosecco brand Della Vite has partnered with Avolta to unveil a ‘Cheat on Champagne’ pop-up at London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5. Travellers can experience the at-home bar concept in World Duty Free’s liquor area until 30 April.

Co-founders Poppy and Chloe Delevingne unveiled the animation, following the launch of Della Vite Prosecco Superiore DOCG and Della Vite Prosecco DOC Treviso Rosé at key UK airports including Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Manchester and Birmingham.

The activation highlights the ‘Cheat on Champagne’ campaign, incorporating Italian aesthetics in the bar interiors. Passengers can engage with interactive elements such as moving graphics and a selfie mirror competition offering the chance to win a year’s supply of Prosecco.

This marks the brand’s inaugural activation at London Heathrow Airport

Della Vite is offering gifts with purchase throughout the month: shoppers who buy a single bottle will receive a branded gift bag, while those purchasing multiple bottles will get a complimentary tote bag.

Della Vite Co-Founder Poppy Delevingne said: “We’re so excited to see Della Vite in the spotlight of travel retail this Easter and to spread the Della Vite magic to more corners of the world.

“This April, thousands of travellers will get to taste our wildly delicious Prosecco, which is perfect timing ahead of the Prosecco season kicking in.

“Our partnership with Avolta is the perfect way to grow our global footprint while offering passengers a premium alternative in duty free.”

Through engaging visuals, travellers are introduced to Della Vite’s origins in Cartizze, Valdobbiadene – a region recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site

Della Vite Travel Retail Sales Director Rupert Firbank added: “Della Vite is now listed at all major UK airports. Offering a DOCG Prosecco and a vintage DOC rosé, we are elevating the quality of Prosecco available to passengers but still at a saving compared to English sparkling and Champagne.

“By bridging the gap between champagne and standard Prosecco we also provide retailers with a true brand – and as passengers trade up, a route to higher cash margins and category growth.”

Avolta Category Director Liquor, Tobacco & Food Eduardo Heusi commented: “At Avolta, we’re passionate about curating exceptional experiences that make the journey memorable for our customers – and our collaboration with the Delevingne sisters and Della Vite is a perfect example.

“Their passion, personality and commitment to quality shine through in every bottle of this award-winning Prosecco.

“We’re very pleased to bring this boutique brand to life with an exclusive activation at our World Duty Free store in Heathrow Terminal 5, where travellers can connect directly with the story behind the product and enjoy a moment of sparkle on their journey.” ✈
