IndyCar Series fans have the opportunity to vote on one of three livery options to be used on Devlin DeFrancesco’s No. 30 Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing House of Doge Honda at the Indianapolis 500.
According to RLL, DeFrancesco is “using his platform to give back to critically ill children. As part of this Dogetastic partnership, DeFrancesco, a dog lover and Dogecoin fan, will personally donate $25,000 in Dogecoin to Riley Children’s Foundation in Indianapolis, aligned with Riley Children’s Health, a leading pediatric care center. This initiative also marks a historic moment in motorsport, as DeFrancesco has committed to receive $100,000 of his salary in Dogecoin.”
With three liveries to choose from — Blaze, Turbowave, and BananaBoost — the leading option selected by votes at dogecoin.com/indycar will adorn the Canadian-Italian’s car in May as he attempts to qualify for his third Indy 500.
“I first invested in Dogecoin in 2020 and drove everyone crazy, telling anyone that would listen that they needed to own it,” DeFrancesco said. “It’s not only my favorite crypto, but the plan to become a global currency and drive payment adoption is awesome. I’m pumped to be part of the community and an ambassador for the vision.”
