Shortly after the event, the influencer spoke on his podcast about a pitch that would’ve seen he and the Rattlesnake combine forces at the Show of Shows to promote his Prime drink brand. “We offered Steve a million dollars to be in the Prime bottle” the 30-year-old revealed. “He didn’t do it, so instead he ran over a poor woman!” Revealing he’d offered as much as $1 million to Austin to go through with it, he added “We were like: ‘Bro, do you want to get in this bottle?’ I mean, I don’t think he even considered it for a second. “The WWE Universe would kill him. Imagine it – his face-revealed the Prime bottle: ‘It’s f Stone Cold?!’ “He could have done anything, which is why I think it would have worked, ultimately. And maybe one year.” Unsurprisingly, Austin turned the offer down. Hardly known for his wild and wacky on-screen antics, the multi-time former world champion told the Ariel Helwani Show: “I’m a beer guy,” adding his surprise that Paul had made details of what he considered a ‘private’ matter public. The former United States Champion, currently feuding with Jey Uso on WWE screens, is not one for his contrition, fully immersed in his role as a wrestling villain. Clearly, though, he’s aware his comments annoyed Austin as, on his YouTube channel, Paul issued an apology to the Hall of Fame star.
