During the Chiefs’ 40-22 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl, Worthy was one of Kansas City’s few bright spots with 157 yards. Travis Kelce is set to return this season but he might only have one year left in the NFL. The super-speedy Worthy is set up to be Mahomes’ primary receiver in 2025 and has already displayed Pro Bowl potential. Mahomes tweeted his excitement when the young receiver joined the team last season. And Worthy appeared to be a perfect fit when he joined the Chiefs in 2024. “Man, I’m coming with the mentality to work hard and earn my spot in the locker room,” Worthy said. “I feel like I’m a complete receiver.
