The Jaguar driver completed 16 laps in the 40 minute session, setting a best time of 1m23.785s, 0.113s quicker than Porsche’s da Costa.

Second practice will take place on Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m. local time, before qualifying at 9:40, and the 26-lap race at 2:05 p.m.
