Calgary Flames at Dallas Stars predictions  Receiving the game’s first star on Tuesday, Connor Zary put in an exceptional effort lighting the lamp on two occasions. His tally versus the Flyers was his first goal since January 2nd, a span of eight games.  Morgan Frost got the last laugh as he returned to his old stomping grounds and cataloged two assists in over 16 minutes of ice time versus the Flyers. It’s been a subpar start to Frost’s tenure with the Flames as he only managed to tabulate four points in his first 11 games. As mentioned above, Thomas Harley scored with five seconds left in the final frame to help Dallas get into the win column. The 23-year-old blueliner also managed to coral an assist in just under 26 minutes of ice time against the Devils. Through 59 regular season games this term, Harley has amassed 37 points, slowly turning into a household name across the NHL.  Matt Duchene has rejuvenated his career and shows no signs of slowing down at the age of 34. Currently, the veteran forward leads this Stars’ club this season in all major stat categories heaping 25 goals and 37 assists. Duechene has a vast wealth of NHL experience, participating in 1117 career games dating back to 2009. Calgary Flames at Dallas Stars betting tip Despite the Flames owning the edge in the head-to-head battle against Dallas in their 10 previous matchups, our feeling is the Stars can not only win but defeat Calgary by more than a goal. The Flames did rack up six goals on Tuesday, but this is an offensively challenged team ranking as the third-lowest-scoring side in the NHL. Calgary so far this season has yet to win two away games in a row when their away trips extend for more than one skirmish.  Dallas squaring off against this inadequate attacking squad bodes well for them considering the talent they possess on defence and in the blue crease. The Stars have given up as a team, 158 goals which is the second fewest in the league. American Airlines Center has been a gruelling site  for the visiting teams as the Stars have won 23 out of 31 home dates this year. On the puck line, the Stars have covered the spread on 18 occurrences, and we feel that Thursday is another spot for the home team to answer the challenge.
