Black Rebel Motorcycle Club Plan Fall ‘Howl’ Tour
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their album 'Howl' with their first headlining tour since 2020.

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their album Howl with their first headlining tour since 2020. The outing will kick off Sept. 20 in Santa Ana, Ca., and run through Oct. 25 in the trio’s hometown of San Francisco. MIEN and Humanist will support.
Although details are still coming together, BRMC will reissue Howl this fall in a four-LP set featuring previously unreleased music from the album’s original recording sessions.

“Bruce Springsteen stripped down his songs to reflect his pessimistic journey through the badlands; BRMC’s scaled-back sound is reflective of a group that’s come out on the other side of that trip and doesn’t want to hide behind feedback any longer,” SPIN wrote in its contemporary review of Howl. “They own this take on Americana more than they ever owned the pedal pushing of their previous albums. If nothing else, they believe in it more.”
The band, which features multi-instrumentalists Robert Levon Been and Peter Hayes and drummer Leah Shapiro, has only played two shows since 2022, when they opened a North American tour for the Cult.
