Beauty Concepts and Beaute Luxe win contract for multi-category duty-free shops at Goa Airport
For the first time, the partners’ combined offering goes beyond selective perfumery to include fellow categories such as spirits, tobacco, cosmetics & fragrances and confectionery.

INDIA. Beauty Concepts, in association with Beaute Luxe, has been awarded a contract to operate two multi-category duty-free shops at Goa (Dabolim) International Airport. The stores, one each in arrivals and departures, are scheduled to open in June.
The new points of sale mark an important step in the partners’ strategic development of travel retail, they said.
For the first time, the offering stretches beyond selective perfumery to include fellow categories, such as spirits, tobacco, cosmetics & fragrances and confectionery.
This strategic diversification opens new horizons for development, Beaute Luxe added.
Beauty Concepts is one of India’s largest distributors, dealing with over 100 brands in various segments across a range of offline retail channels and major online platforms. The company also operates over 60 stores in selected shopping centres and airports.
Beaute Luxe claims to be the undisputed leader in travel retail distribution in Africa, where it enjoys a presence in over 34 countries. The company, which has four subsidiaries based on the African continent, distributes a wide array of leading international luxury and premium brands in over 200 duty-free stores.
The group said it is stepping up its international development strategy by establishing itself at Goa International Airport. “Goa is a growing international airport with high tourist volumes and traffic of over 6 million passengers,” said Beaute Luxe CEO David Dayan.
“This opening reflects our commitment to continuing to raise awareness of our brand among international travellers, while adapting our offering to the specificities of the Indian market.”
“This marks an important milestone in Beauty Concepts’ ‘journey to redefine travel retail in India’,” said Beauty Concepts President Rajiv Bahety.
“Our deep market knowledge, operational excellence and commitment to delivering premium experiences have been instrumental in realising this vision at Goa International Airport. We look forward to setting new standards in duty-free shopping.”
Designed as elegant and immersive spaces, the stores will offer a specialised selection of renowned international brands in a refined and contemporary environment, the partners said.
“With this strategic entry into the duty-free sector, the group confirms its ambition to become an international, multi-segment and innovative player in travel retail,” Beaute Luxe concluded.
