Declan Rice scored two incredible free-kicks as Arsenal beat Real Madrid 3-0 in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final showdown.

Mikel Merino, assisted by Myles Lewis-Skelly, added the third goal on Tuesday night to leave the Spanish champions hanging by a thread in Europe’s elite club competition.

Real Madrid star Eduardo Camavinga was shown a red card just before full-time and will miss the second leg in another blow for Carlo Ancelotti.
