In a statement, Suffolk Police confirmed: “A 25-year-old man has been charged with murder, after a man who sustained serious injuries following an incident in Newmarket earlier this month died in hospital. “A 23-year-old man, who was also arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm, and a 45-year-old man, who was arrested on suspicion of affray, both remain on police bail until June 5 and June 9 respectively.” Williams has not participated in any race since being handed an 18-month suspension after testing positive for cocaine.
