Andy Reid bolsters Chiefs with new $20m star to help Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce return to Super Bowl

According to ESPN’s NFL Insider Adam Schefter, Fulton has agreed to terms for a two-year, $20million contract with $15m in guaranteed money. The cornerback signed a one-year deal with the Chargers last year, after spending four seasons with the Tennessee Titans. He started 15 games in 2024 and finished with 51 tackles and an interception. Interestingly, Fulton intercepted Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes in Week 4 of last season. That led to Mahomes trying to tackle him down the left sideline, causing the signal caller to accidentally collide with teammate Rashee Rice, who suffered a lateral collateral ligament in his left knee and required season-ending surgery. Fulton is the latest player to join the Chiefs ahead of the 2025 season, as Andy Reid’s team look to bounce back from their Super Bowl blowout against the Philadelphia Eagles.
