Amad Diallo posts significant injury update ahead of Man Utd vs Lyon
A welcome boost for the Red Devils.

Amad Diallo has posted an encouraging update on his return from injury as the Manchester United forward is back running on the grass.
The 22-year-old has been out of action since February due to an ankle injury and has been missed after some fine form before the fitness setback.
Red Devils boss Ruben Amorim initially suggested Amad was going to be out for the season, before then saying there was a chance he could still appear before the end of the campaign.
It now looks likely that the Ivory Coast international will get back on the pitch in the coming weeks, having posted a positive update on his recovery.
A brief Instagram story on Amad’s account showed the winger jogging towards the camera on the grass in full training kit.

Clearly there is still some work to be done after jogging again to be ready to play games but he appeared to be moving freely and comfortably.
A return to action would be a huge boost for the Red Devils in a tricky time for the club which was not improved by a 4-1 defeat at Newcastle on Sunday.
What Ruben Amorim has said about Amad Diallo’s return
After initially suggesting Amad would miss the rest of the season, Amorim has become far more optimistic.
Speaking earlier this month, Amorim said: ‘I think he will be ready in the final games.
‘He’s doing quite well. We hope to have him before the season is finished.
‘We’ll see, but he’s anxious to play, so we are waiting for him.’
Obviously Amad will not be available again on Thursday for the crunch Europa League quarter-final second leg with Lyon.
The first leg was drawn 2-2 in France so the Red Devils are in a decent position, but they will be without Joshua Zirkzee after the Dutch forward picked up a hamstring injury in the loss at St James’ Park.
Zirkzee joins Lisandro Martinez, Matthijs de Ligt, Toby Collyer, Ayden Heaven, Jonny Evans and Amad on the injured list.
If Manchester United can progress past Lyon then they will meet either Rangers or Athletic Bilbao in the semis, which will be played on May 1 and 8.
Amad will hope to be involved again by that point, in the final month of the season.
The Europa League final is still a long way off for Manchester United, but will be held in Bilbao on May 21.
