‘But I already signed, I was already there. After the first few months I carried on having the same feeling, we weren’t united as a team in that moment.’

In 2023, Sanchez made an attempt to return to Arsenal on a free transfer after his contract with Marseille expired.

However, Arteta informed the Chilean forward’s representative that he was not interested in a deal.
