AdVini partners with Duty Free Global to focus on Asia Pacific travel retail expansion

AdVini and Duty Free Global will host an exclusive vertical tasting session on 13 May at the TFWA Asia Pacific show, offering a comparison of wines from Bordeaux and Rhône.

Duty Free Global will focus on AdVini’s wine estates across Bordeaux, the Rhône Valley, Provence, Languedoc-Roussillon and Stellenbosch, South Africa 

French terroir wine group AdVini has announced a new partnership with wine & spirits agency Duty Free Global (DFG), aimed at expanding its footprint across Asia and other global travel retail markets where it currently has limited presence.

The collaboration will be showcased at the upcoming TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference (11-15 May) with Duty Free Global (Basement 2 F-10).

Under the agreement, DFG will represent a selection of AdVini’s premium wines, focusing on key regions such as Bordeaux, the Rhône Valley, Provence, Languedoc-Roussillon and South Africa. Brands on display will include:

  • Bordeaux: Château Patache d’Aux, Château Capet Guillier and Château Liversan
  • Rhône Valley: L’Oratoire des Papes, Ogier
  • Provence: Gassier
  • Languedoc and Roussillon: Vignobles Jeanjean, Maison Cazes
  • Stellenbosch, South Africa: Ken Forrester Vineyards, L’Avenir and Kleine Zalze

The strategic partnership leverages DFG’s established distribution networks and expertise and marks a significant step in AdVini’s ambition to reinforce its presence in the channel.

AdVini and DFG will host vertical tasting session at 16:00 on 13 May at the Singapore show. Entitled ‘Revealing the terroir wines: Bordeaux versus Rhône’, the session will present a comparative tasting of two flagship estates: L’Oratoire des Papes from Châteauneuf-du-Pape (Rhône Valley) and Château Patache d’Aux from the Médoc region (Bordeaux).

The tasting will provide insight into the differing terroirs and winemaking approaches of these two renowned French wine regions. L’Oratoire des Papes is noted for its refined and complex wines, crafted in a historic troglodyte cellar with a strong commitment to sustainability.

Meanwhile, Château Patache d’Aux, classified as a Cru Bourgeois Supérieur, is recognised for its Cabernet Sauvignon-led blends. The coach on its label symbolises the three families who have taken over the estate throughout its history.

AdVini’s Travel Retail Key Account Manager Ieva Olina and Asia Pacific Sales Manager Luc Jalenques will be present throughout the TFWA Asia Pacific event to meet industry partners and showcase AdVini’s GTR portfolio. ✈
