A Remarkable Story from 100 Years Ago You Should Know
Endurance: Shackleton's Incredible Voyage, What an amazing story! The writing was so engaging that I spent hours getting lost in the characters, their personalities, and especially the captain—his decisions and how he kept everyone together, focused on surviving such a tough situation. Unlike a lot of books that mainly highlight the leadership and corporate dynamics, this one really stands out by focusing on the actual story and the survivors' journal entries. More than once, I caught myself laughing at some of their notes. As you read, you get so invested that you start rooting for them, eagerly waiting to see how they manage to make it through. Honestly, I can’t recommend this book enough. Hope you enjoy it too! Since the story is based on a real-life event, I chose the Portuguese version, and now that I've finished it, I know it was the right choice for me—I loved it!
