Gabriel Luna, who plays Tommy in The Last of Us, has pulled back the curtain on how Joel’s (Pedro Pascal) death in Episode 2 will affect him and the people of Jackson going forward. The second episode of The Last of Us Season 2, “Through the Valley,” is currently the highest-rated episode in the entire series. Not only does it show Joel’s death at the hands of Abby (Kaitlyn Dever), but it also follows Tommy as he ruthlessly defends the people of Jackson. Now that his brother is gone, there’s certainly a void left in Tommy’s life.
