A Fold-Flat Aluminum Chair that Fits in a FedEx Box
This FoldSeat is by Aidan Reinhold. The NYC-based furniture designer moves a lot, and tasked himself with designing an easy-to-transport chair. Furthermore, he wanted the chair to be monomaterial for ease of recycling, to come together without the use of tools, and to fold down to fit inside a 12" x 17" FedEx box. The entire chair—the sheets, the hinges, the rivets—are all made of aluminum. It's available for purchase through Reinhold's company, FlatFlat, for $350.
