2025 Modenas Kawasaki Ninja 500 ABS and Ninja 500 ABS SE for Malaysia, priced from RM28,100

Debuting in Malaysia are the 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 500 and Ninja 500 SE, priced at RM28,100 and RM30,100. Pricing does not include road tax, insurance and registration and a two-year or 20,000 km warranty is offered against manufacturing defects.

Both Ninja 500s carry the same engine, a 451 cc liquid-cooled, DOHC, parallel-twin fed by EFI with twin 32 mm diameter throttle bodies. Power is claimed to be 51 hp at 10,000 rpm with a maximum torque of 43 Nm at 7,500 rpm.

Power goes to the rear wheel via a six-speed slip and assist clutch equipped gearbox and chain final drive. Suspension is done with 41 mm diameter telescopic forks in front and preload adjustable monoshock in the rear.

Single hydraulic discs do the braking, with a 310 mm semi-floating disc with two-piston calliper in front and 220 mm disc with single-piston calliper at the back, while two-channel ABS is standard equipment. Tyre sizing for the Ninja 500 is 110/80-17 in front and 150/60-17 for the rear wheel.

Difference between the standard Ninja 500 and the Ninja 500 SE is the inclusion of a USB Type-C outlet for charging the rider’s electronics, keyless start and a TFT-LCD full-colour instrument panel. Seat height for the Ninja 500 is set at 785 mm while weight is listed at 171 kg with 14-litres of fuel in the tank.

Colour option for the Ninja 500 is black while the Ninja 500SE is available in Lime Green or Black/Red. Stocks of the Ninja 500 and Ninja 500 SE is available in all authorised Modenas Kawasaki dealer showrooms immediately.
