Entering the scooter market in Malaysia is the 2025 Honda NSS 250, priced remaining unchanged from 2024 at RM25,888. Main competition for the NSS 250 in Malaysia is the Yamaha XMax 250, priced at RM23,998 in 2023.
There are five colour options for the NSS 250 in Malaysia – Pearl Smoky Gray, Matte Gun Powder Black Metallic, Candy Rosy Red, Pearl Jubilee White, and Pearl Shining Black. Every NSS 250 comes with a two-year or 20,000 km warranty against manufacturing defects.
No changes in specifications otherwise for the NSS 250 with power coming from a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, SOHC four-stroke, four-valve engine with eSP+, displacing 249.5 cc. From the specificatios, the NSS250 gets 22.79 hp at 7,750 rm with a maximum torque of 24 Nm at 6,250 rpm, delivered to the rear wheel by CVT gearbox and belt drive.
Positioned as a premium scooter in Malaysia, the NSS250 comes with an electrically adjustable windshield, moving 180 mm fr low to high setting. Other conveniences include smart key operation, USB-C charging located in the front cowl pocket and Emergency Stop System (ESS) that flashes the hazard lights during hard braking.
New for the NSS250 is a TFT-LCD meter panel and a 48-litre storage compartment is located under the seat, capable of storing two full-face helmets. Also standard is Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), a.k.a traction control, is standard equipment as is two-channel ABS.
Braking uses single hydraulic discs front and rear, with a 265 mm diameter disc on the front with two-piston calliper and 240 mm disc at the back with single-piston calliper. For suspension, the NSS250 gets non-adjustable telescopic forks in front and twin preload-adjustable shock absorbers in the rear.
The NSS250 is equipped with 15-inch front and 14-inch rear wheels, shod with 120/70 and 140/70 tyres, front and rear, respectively. Fuel tank capacity for the NSS250 is 11.7-litres, with Seat height set at 780 mm and weight is claimed to be 185 kg.
