2025 Hanway Heritage 400 in Malaysia, RM22,800

Another motorcycle brand from China makes its debut in Malaysia with the 2025 Hanway Heritage 400. Coming into Malaysia as CKD, the Hanway Heritage 400 is priced at RM22,800 excluding road tax, insurance and registration, and comes with a two-year or 20,000 km warranty against manufacturing defects.

Presented as a laid back cruiser, the Heritage 400 features bobber styling, coming standard with two seating options, a bobber solo seat or a two-up seat, allowing the rider to swap and switch as he or she wishes. Power for the Heritage 400 comes from a liquid-cooled, parallel-twin DOHC engine displacing 401 cc.

Producing 42 hp at 9,500 rpm with a maximum torque of 34 Nm, the Heritage 400 sends power to the rear wheel via a six-speed gearbox and chain final drive. Rolling on 16-inch wheels front and rear, tyre sizing is 130/90 in front and 150/80 at the back, typical rubber for cruiser in this segment.

Braking is done with twin hydraulic discs on the front wheel and a single disc in the rear, with two-channel ABS as standard equipment. Front suspension uses conventional telescopic forks and preload-adjustable shock absorbers at the back.

Inside the cockpit, a combination analogue and digital instrument gauge displays all the necessary information. Weight for the Heritage 400 is listed as 198 kg with a 12-litre fuel tank and seat height is listed as 690 mm.
