Death Stranding PS Store sale

Dealmania is about to end, taking away some of the best deals for PS4 and PS5 consoles. Luckily, Mega March has begun giving PlayStation gamers more reasons to spend money. However, there is one last deal from the PS Store‘s previous sales promotion that players will not want to miss, as it was a Game of the Year Contender in 2019.

Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding Director’s Cut is $19.99 on PS Store

Death Stranding Director’s Cut is just $19.99 on the PS Store right now. That is a 60% discount from its normal $49.99 price tag. However, PS5 players will want to act on this one fast as the offer ends tomorrow, March 13 at 2:59 A.M. ET. That’s less than 24 hours.

Death Stranding Players Count Reaches Big Milestone Ahead of Sequel

“In the future, a mysterious event known as the Death Stranding has opened a doorway between the living and the dead, leading to grotesque creatures from the afterlife roaming the fallen world marred by a desolate society,” reads the game’s description. “As Sam Bridges, your mission is to deliver hope to humanity by connecting the last survivors of a decimated America. Can you reunite the shattered world, one step at a time?”

The Death Stranding Director’s Cut remasters the 2019 release with two graphics options, DualSense haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, and 3D audio. It also features expanded content, new discoveries, and a competitive ranking system.

When Death Stranding launched in 2019, it was well received critically. According to review aggregate site Metacritic, Hideo Kojima’s most recent release garnered an average score of 82 across 111 critic reviews. It was also a nominee for Game of the Year at The Game Awards that year, but lost to Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. In our review, we gave it a 10 out of 10.

“Death Stranding is not a ‘fun’ game, but it’s an important and meaningful experience that earns its payoff through every bit of frustration and slog,” reads our review.

Death Stranding’s sequel Death Standing 2: On the Beach releases on June 26.
