The connectivity options were excellent, with three USB-A 3.2 ports, a Thunderbolt 4 USB-C port, an HDMI 2.1 port, a Mini DP 1.4, and an RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet port.
However, there were a couple of downsides. The speakers were quiet and tuned mostly for mid and high frequencies, which wasn’t ideal for a rich audio experience. Additionally, the off-center positioning of the trackpad took some getting used though I stilled relied more on a external mouse.
For anyone who needs a powerful machine for programming and high-end applications, I highly recommend the Acer Predator Helios 300. It met all my needs and is a solid performer.
