WWE's Drew McIntyre Debuts Doom: The Dark Ages Gear For Wrestlemania Entrance
Video games and wrestling are two great tastes that go great together. From The New Day repping Final Fantasy 14, to Speedball Mike Bailey paying homage to Chrono Trigger, it's been a years-long trend that refuses to slow down. At the biggest stage of professional wrestling this past weekend, former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre donned Doom: The Dark Ages-inspired gear for his match against Damian Priest.McIntyre's feud with former world champion Priest has been building since last year's Wrestlemania when Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase on the Scottish Warrior and took his newly won World Heavyweight Championship. The two were billed for a Sin City Street Fight with Drew getting the win. McIntyre donned a scaled cloak with spiked pauldrons and armored gauntlets, along with his traditional kilt.
