Typically, when the PGA Tour and LIV Golf are mentioned in the same sentence, it is when discussing their ongoing conflict.

But at The Masters, they will unite as a select few golfers move from LIV across to the opening major at the iconic Augusta National.

And here are the stars who will be teeing it up this week…

LIV Golf players in The Masters

There are 12 LIV players at the 2025 Masters.

Seven of the group are all returning to Augusta as they are previous winners.

Those past champions include Jon Rahm, Bubba Watson, Sergio Garcia, Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson, Patrick Reed and Charl Schwartzel.

The remaining five LIV golfers are Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka, Tyrell Hatton, Cameron Smith and Joaquin Niemann.

  • Jon Rahm
  • Bryson DeChambeau
  • Brooks Koepka
  • Sergio Garcia
  • Phil Mickelson
  • Bubba Watson
  • Tyrell Hatton
  • Joaquin Niemann
  • Patrick Reed
  • Charl Schwartzel
  • Cameron Smith
  • Dustin Johnson

Jon Rahm

Rahm won The Masters in 2023 and is now aiming for his second green jacket.

The Spaniard is also a US Open champion and now tees it up on the LIV Golf tour where in this season so far, he’s not finished outside the top 10.

It sees him heading to Augusta in good form and despite doubts over whether the quality gap to the PGA Tour could see him struggle, he remains a contender.

Bryson DeChambeau

DeChambeau qualifies for The Masters having won the US Open last year and he’s back to try and claim his first green jacket.

The huge-hitting American is considered as one of the favourites to win the major this time around after an impressive showing last April.

He led the tournament after 18 holes and was tied at the top after 36, however, he would drop down to finish T6 after the last two rounds.

Brooks Koepka

Koepka is another American star returning for his 10th Masters start.

The 34-year-old has come incredibly close to glory in this major on two occasions, finishing second at Augusta in 2021 and 2023.

He earned an invite to the event thanks to winning the 2023 PGA Championship.

Sergio Garcia

Another winner of The Masters is Garcia, who came out on top in 2017.

That win created one of the best moments in recent history of the event as he collected the green jacket on Spanish icon Seve Ballesteros’ birthday.

The 45-year-old will be his 26th start in the iconic major and he will be looking to pull off some more heroics at the back end of his career.

Phil Mickelson

Mickelson is a three-time Masters champion and he’s now making his 32nd start.

The 54-year-old is one of only eight players to win this even three or more times, along with golf legends Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus.

His victories came in 2004, 2006 and 2010, and he’s made the cut in 28 of his 31 appearances so far, which bodes well for this year.

Bubba Watson

Similarly to Mickelson, Watson is a multiple-time winner of The Masters.

He tasted glory and was handed the green jacket in 2012 and 2014, with this now being his 17th start in the tournament.

The 46-year-old hasn’t taken part in the last two events, but he’s back and aiming to improve on his T39 finish in 2022.

Tyrell Hatton

Hatton earned his place in the 2025 Masters by finishing in the top 12 last year.

He’s never won a major, but he does have five top 10 finishes across the four events, including his ninth place at Augusta in 2024.

That was his best finish in eight starts throughout his career, and he’ll now be aiming to claim a place even higher than that.

Joaquin Niemann

Chilean star Niemann has received a special invitation to The Masters this year.

This will be his fifth entry into the event and he’s been invited back for his fourth straight year to help grow the sport of golf globally.

He’s already won two events on the LIV Golf Tour this season and that leaves him in great form to potentially win a green jacket.

Patrick Reed

Reed is another past champion at Augusta, claiming his green jacket in 2018.

He is now set for his 12th start in The Masters and will be looking to build on some solid finishes in recent years.

The closest he had come since his victory seven years ago was a T4 in 2023, while he finished in an impressive T12 in 2024.

Reed is another Masters champion returning to Augusta

Charl Schwartzel

It’s been 14 years since Schwartzel won The Masters in 2011.

The South African joined legend Gary Player and Trevor Immelman as the only champions representing his country.

He didn’t take part last year following a T50 finish two years ago.

Cameron Smith

Smith is a player who seems to enjoy Augusta, finishing inside the top six four times since his first appearance in 2016.

He came very close to glory in 2020 as he came second behind eventual champion Dustin Johnson.

Last year, he finished T6, and in 2023, he finished T3, so he has a strong history in The Masters and could be involved at the top again.

Dustin Johnson

As mentioned, Johnson became a Masters champion in 2020.

But he’s now World No.663 ahead of his 15th appearance at Augusta.

He didn’t play a part last year and has missed two of the four events since his win, so his chances of another green jacket are slim.
