Where To Find All Atomfall Lunchboxes - Locations Guide

Do you want to obtain all the lunchboxes in Atomfall? There are several of these items that you can acquire during your playthrough. However, they're somewhat hard to find since they're buried underground. Fret not since our guide is here to help you along the way.

Where to find all lunchboxes in Atomfall

The only way you can actually find lunchboxes in the game is if you have a Metal Detector. The closest one can be picked up from a corpse near a pond in southeast Slatten Dale. The coordinates are 29.0 E, 73.9 N.

How to use the Metal Detector to discover lunchboxes

Once you have a Metal Detector equipped, it will emit a loud beep if there's a buried item nearby. Switch to it and hold the aim button to keep it steady. Then, take a look at the device's screen:

• The red lights indicate the direction. You'll want to look around depending on the one that's lit up. For instance, if the middle light is glowing, that just means you need to continue walking straight ahead.
• The gauge/meter indicates your distance to a buried item. Once it reaches 10, it means you're right above what you're looking for.
• Press the fire/attack button to dig out your prize.

Note that the Metal Detector can also inform you of the locations of other loot, such as caches. Of course, our Atomfall lunchbox locations guide only focuses on this particular collectible.

The map above shows where you can find the lunchboxes in Slatten Dale. It's the first region in the game that you can fully explore.

Lunchbox 1: The Spider

• Region: Slatten Dale
• Coordinates: 23.5 E, 77.3 N
• Location: From the Bunker where you started the campaign, head northwest until you see the Convoy Wreckage area. The buried item is next to a rock near the river. Also, if you go behind the waterfall, you can pick up a comic book collectible.

Lunchbox 2: Air Ace - Hurricane

• Region: Slatten Dale
• Coordinates: 24.7 E, 74.2 N
• Location: Follow the road along the western portion of Slatten Dale until you come across a rocky ledge. Climb it and go through the opening, then drop down the ladder. The Metal Detector should beep, letting you know that a buried item is nearby.

Lunchbox 3: Steel Commando

• Region: Slatten Dale
• Coordinates: 29.7 E, 75.1 N
• Location: This particular spot is close to the Outlaw Camp. However, more dangerous foes lurk nearby: the nasty fish that will keep chomping at your heels if you wade across the water.

The map above shows the Atomfall lunchbox locations in Wyndham Village. If you take the northern exit in Slatten Dale, you'll reach this particular sector that's under the control of the Protocol army.

Lunchbox 4: Air Ace - Spitfire Orange

• Region: Wyndham Village
• Coordinates: 30.8 E, 81.0 N
• Location: This collectible is fairly close to the Brewery Cellar entrance. There's just one problem: there are countless carnivorous rats nearby. They're feeding on a corpse, so you need to be quick lest you become their next meal.

Lunchbox 5: Air Ace - Spitfire Yellow

• Region: Wyndham Village
• Coordinates: 31.4 E, 82.1 N
• Location: Keep going north from the Brewery Cellar lunchbox until you see a phone booth. Right next to it is a small abandoned house. But be forewarned that the house's interior is actually a restricted area, and the Protocol soldiers will become suspicious if they spot you. As such, you need to wait until everyone has their backs turned before you start searching for stuff with the Metal Detector.

Lunchbox 6: Jet-Ace Logan - Space Trap (Thriller Picture Library 406)

• Region: Wyndham Village
• Coordinates: 34.9 E, 79.7 N
• Location: You can find this in the yard of a house just north of the Grendel's Head pub.

Lunchbox 7: Jet-Ace Logan - Planet of Fear (Thriller Picture Library 430)

• Region: Wyndham
• Coordinates: 35.1 E, 81.2 N
• Location: Getting this Atomfall lunchbox is a bit tricky. That's because it's in the Protocol Outpost yard, which is another restricted area. The idea is to follow the river leading north, and then hop on a ledge that gives you access to the side of the yard. Just watch out because patrolling guards might see you.

The region of Skethermoor has five lunchboxes for you to acquire. One of them, however, is in a massive prison complex.

Lunchbox 8: John Steel - Secret Agent (Super Detective Library 165)

• Region: Skethermoor
• Coordinates: 38.5 E, 76.2 N
• Location: Found in a grassy area south of the Protocol Workshop and west of the Road Blockade.

Lunchbox 9: Battler Britton - Thriller Picture Library Red 417

• Region: Skethermoor
• Coordinates: 39.7 E, 77.9 N
• Location: To get this particular lunchbox collectible, you need to head to Brinsop Manor Ruins. Then, make your way through the hedge maze in the yard.

Lunchbox 10: Battler Britton - Thriller Picture Library White 401

• Region: Skethermoor
• Coordinates: 40.2 E, 75.4 N
• Location: Follow the road leading to the center of the map (near the Ruined Hamlet), but be careful since there's a minefield in the area. Eventually, you'll reach a copse of trees and the Metal Detector will start beeping.

Lunchbox 11: Battler Britton - Thriller Picture Library Yellow 397

• Region: Skethermoor
• Coordinates: 43.3 E, 76.3 N
• Location: Head over to the eastern part of the map. There's a cluster of bushes halfway between the Greenhouses and Nora's Barn. The Metal Detector should beep once you're close enough.

Lunchbox 12: Raw Deal - Cowboy Picture Library 440

• Region: Skethermoor Prison
• Coordinates: 41.1 E, 70.8 N
• Location: Getting this Atomfall lunchbox collectible might take you a while. That's because it's inside the heavily guarded Skethermoor Prison. Here's what you need to do:
  • You need to disable the alarms outside the facility by using the Signal Redirector. There are various ways that you can obtain this device, though one of the most reliable methods requires you to tackle the quest to find Dr. Garrow.
  • Use the Signal Redirector to gain entry to Skethermoor Prison, which is where you need to free Dr. Garrow.
  • Once you pick up the Security Keycard in the Bunk Room on the ground floor, you can use it to unlock most of the doorways in the facility.
  • From the Bunk Room, open the large Maintenance Room door that's right next to it.
  • Go through the corridors until you reach another doorway at the A-04 section.
  • Traverse this cavernous area and go down the ladder. The Metal Detector should beep, though that's because there's a regular cache nearby.
  • If you continue following the underground path, the Metal Detector will beep again. This time, you'll end up digging the collectible itself.
