Warner Bros. TV Head Says We Won’t Have to Wait Years for Future Seasons of ‘The Pitt’
Warner Bros. TV Boss Channing Dungey says HBO is hoping to release future seasons of The Pitt on a consistent annual basis.
The Pitt has just wrapped its first season, but fans have known for quite some time that the Max hit series is coming back for Season 2. The reason for the renewal is very simple to understand: the show quickly rose to become one of the most popular streaming-exclusive titles of 2025. In a new interview with Deadline, however, Chairperson and CEO of Warner Bros. Television GroupChanning Dungey revealed that there was an additional reason why they wanted The Pitt to get a head start: timing.
