The Toyota GR Supra GT4 EVO2, which swept the front row for this evening’s Lone Star Enduro, has been handed additional weight in a pre-race Balance of Performance adjustment by SRO Motorsports Group.
Confirmed on Saturday afternoon, the Toyota has received a 25 kg increase in minimum weight compared to the configuration the car ran in testing, practice and qualifying for the third round of the Pirelli GT4 America season.
The Aston Martin Vantage GT4 Evo has also been hit with a weight increase, but with 15 kg of additional ballast.
Both the McLaren Artura GT4 and Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport, meanwhile, have been given weight reductions to the tune of 20 kg and 10 kg, respectively.
The three-hour race gets underway at 5 p.m. CST with live coverage on SRO’s GT World YouTube channel and on Twitch.
