THE LUMINEERS (ST VINCENT, DR DOG, MORE OPENING SOME SHOWS)
Very popular folk-pop group The Lumineers, whose new album Automatic drops this week, have announced a stadium tour that will have them out from July through October. Opening will be, depending on the market St Vincent (Boston and Chicago), Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Dr. Dog, The Head and the Heart and more. The NYC stop is Citi Field on July 11 with Hippo Campus and Young the Giant.
NATHANIEL RATELIFF & THE NIGHT SWEATS
Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats resume their arena tour tomorrow (2/13). Dates run through March, including a newly added CT show (Mohegan Sun Arena on March 23), NYC (Madison Square Garden on March 27), Los Angeles, Seattle, and more. Charley Crockett, Gregory Alan Isakov, The Teskey Brothers, Waxahatchee, and Iron & Wine each open select shows, and you can get tickets now.
I WANT MY ’80 TOUR w/ RICK SPRINGFIELD, WANG CHUNG, MORE
Here’s another nostalgia package tour hitting venues this summer: I Want My ’80s features Rick Springfield, John Waite, Wang Chung, Paul Young, and John Cafferty playing their Reagan-era hits. NY-area stops include Westbury Music Fair on July 9 and NJPAC on July 12. Before that, Rick has dates this winter with Richard Marx and his full schedule is here.
LONG PLAY 2025
The 2025 edition of Bang on a Can’s Long Play Festival happens May 2-4, with 50 concerts staged at 10 different Brooklyn venues and locations. The lineup includes Max Richter, Pete Townshend, Kim Gordon, and more.
DANIEL LANOIS
The ambient pioneer and Grammy-winning producer is bringing his “Reflections” show to select US cities this year.
FERG
Ferg released his first full-length project in over four years, Darold, in November, and he’ll be on the road starting in April.
FOUNTAINS OF WAYNE
Fountains of Wayne have announced their first shows since the death of co-founder Adam Schlesinger in the early days of COVID. It’s also their first shows since 2013. The lineup of the band will be guitarist, frontman and FoW cofounder Chris Collingwood, longtime members Jody Porter and Brian Young, and Eve 6‘s Max Collins on bass (Schlesinger’s role in the band). So far there are two festival dates: Milwaukee Summer Fest and Ocean City, MD’s Ocean Calling.
PELICAN
Pelican will be on tour in support of their first album for Run for Cover.
CONVERGE
Converge have announced a few tour dates in May between their festival appearances at Columbus’ Sonic Temple and Daytona Beach’s Welcome to Rockville, hitting Detroit, Chicago, Nashville and Birmingham.
ARM’S LENGTH / PRINCE DADDY & THE HYENA / RILEY! / BIKE ROUTES
Ontario emo/post-hardcore band Arm’s Length announced a new album for Pure Noise and a headlining tour with the awesome lineup of Prince Daddy & the Hyena, Riley!, and Bike Routes. All dates and more info here.

William Tyler will hold special hi-fi listening events for his upcoming album Time Indefinite.
LOVE ROCKS NYC
Alicia Keys, Beck, Cher, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Eurythmics’ Dave Stewart, Black Pumas’ Eric Burton, and more are on the lineup of this year’s Love Rocks NYC benefit at Beacon Theatre.
GRINGO STAR
Long-running Atlanta garage rockers Gringo Star are releasing their eighth album Sweethearts in May, and have also announced a tour for it that hits NYC for two shows: May 4 at Berlin Under A and May 5 at Main Drag Music.
GEORGE STRAIT / CHRIS STAPLETON
George Strait and Chris Stapleton have added new shows to their stadium/arena tour in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Foxborough, and Los Angeles. Stapleton (without Strait) will also play NYC’s Madison Square Garden with Grace Potter on July 25 & 26.
JUGGALO WEEKEND
Insane Clown Posse are taking over Worcester, MA this weekend as their Juggalo Weekend happens at The Palladium on Friday (2/14) and Saturday (2/15), with the Dark Carnival Games Convention both days at Sturbridge Host Hotel as well. Here’s the schedule.
