NOTHING / WHIRR

Nothing and Whirr have a few tour dates together in July, hitting Boston, Montreal, Toronto, Chicago, Atlanta, and DC.

WET LEG

Wet Leg have announced North American tour dates in support of their upcoming second album, moisturizer (preorder). The shows, which all have mary in the junkyard opening, begin on September 1 in Seattle and finish up at LA’s Greek Theatre on October 17.

TURNSTILE

Turnstile are gradually announcing one-off US shows as they enter the Never Enough era, and the Baltimore band have just added a free hometown show next week.

DURAND JONES & THE INDICATIONS

Soul and R&B trio Durand Jones & The Indications will be on tour this fall in support of upcoming album Flowers. The Psycodelics support on most dates.

MICHAEL CERA PALIN with OOLONG, OGBERT THE NERD, KEROSENE HEIGHTS, more

Michael Cera Palin have announced a new round of tour dates with support from a lot of other great new-school emo bands, including the great pairing of Oolong and Ogbert the Nerd in Boston, Brooklyn, and Philly.

PROPAGANDHI

Canadian punks Propagandhi are releasing their new album At Peace this Friday (5/2) via Epitaph, and they just had to cancel all of their 2025 U.S. dates, including three editions of Punk In The Park and their appearance at Gainesville’s The Fest. “Due to circumstances beyond our control, we are unable to play any USA dates in 2025.”

DROPKICK MURPHYS

Dropkick Murphys have a busy tour schedule ahead and have recently announced they’ll headline Unite for Veterans on the anniversary of D Day, June 6 at the National Mall in Washington DC. Frontman Ken Casey says, “Since we started in 1996, Dropkick Murphys has always proudly supported the men and women of the United States military and are honored to count many of them among our most loyal fans. It will be a privilege to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with veterans on the anniversary of D-Day to raise our voices in defense of their jobs, their health care, and their dignity.”

SOUND & GRAVITY FEST

Sound and Gravity is a new Chicago music festival presented by the club Constellation that will take place over a week (September 10 – 14) at various venues in the city’s Bricktown district. Constellation is owned by former Pitchfork Festival booker Mike Reed, and Sound and Gravity “caters to adventurous, creative listeners eager to support an organization founded and run by artists.” Check out the inaugural lineup.
